Country selection and aid allocation: A case of the Czech Republic

Research background: Donors provide development aid from various reasons: while some of them might give based on the recipient´s needs, countries pursue their own agendas with programmes. Visegrad Group are mostly considered as egoistic donors that try to support security in East European region and promote trade. Purpose article: This article draws back existing literature focused motives behind Czech examines influence both altruistic variables determine which these important for selection portfolio allocation funds. The researched are: number asylum seekers, debt Republic, exports, unemployment developing countries, political civil rights, enrolment secondary education. Methods: Probit-tobit analysis a generalized linear model employed this paper.
